BEST WEIGHT LOSS WORKOTU

.

The Five New Ways to Lose Weight

Peace out, party pounds. These workout tips will help you stay skinny and sexy all the way through the holiday season and into the new year.

1. Speed up your beats. There's an awesome new music service called "U-Mixit" that allows you to download popular workout songs into your iTunes for $1.50 and then literally speed them up so they're actually up to eight beats faster than normal. Then, you can transfer them to your iPod or phone. This is cool for a couple of reasons: 1) Experts say upbeat tempos help push you to exercise longer, and 2) Who doesn't want to rock out on the treadmill to some Alvin & The Chipmunk-style jams?
2. Hit up Skype and/or FaceTime. You don't need to go to the actual gym anymore to work with a personal trainer-more and more trainers are starting to offer virtual services through FaceTime (on MacBooks and iPhone 4s) and Skype for the same price. That means you can go on vacation and still do your workout from the privacy of your hotel room, or just bum it in your living room if you're not in the mood to hit the gym-but since they're watching you, you're still held accountable for your moves. (Translation: No slacking.) Ask your gym to see if their personal trainers offer virtual sessions.
3. Personalize Your Workout. Virtually. But if you're one of those people who can't stand the thought of a personal trainer watching you sweat balls (yeah, it's really not for everyone), then you can still get the personal effect through a fitness app called Fitnad, which will be released sometime in January or February. Developed by the credible experts at ACE Fitness (read: you know it's legit), it's an app that lets you enter in your info (age, what exercises you like to do, and what you want to get out of your workout), and the trained experts at ACE actually develop a routine for you. Just for you. Then, you can stream the routine directly to your Smartphone, so you can bring it with you when you hit the mats, or you can even print out the instructions if you want to go all oldschool. ACE is still developing a price, but it will probably be around $10 per month.
4. Or bust out your iPad. Fitness DVDs are a thing of the past-it's all about using your iPad now. A fitness company called PumpOne offers a program called Fitness Class, which allows you to choose from over 230 popular fitness classes you can take on your iPad (like Bollywood Booty, for instance). To help you choose which class you want to buy (you can download each one individually or buy a few in a group bundle), each class has a description that lists the instructor's brief bio, the equipment you'll need, and the calories you'll burn. There's even a video preview of each class, so you can see if that "ballet kickboxing" class is worth trying.or if it's just a faceplant waiting to happen.
5. Twitter To Be Fitter. As more and more companies and big gyms are joining the social media world, it's super easy to use Twitter and Facebook to achieve your fitness goals. Follow your gym's Facebook and Twitter feeds to scope new classes you may want to check out, and consider tweeting and/or Facebooking about your fitness goals so your friends hold you more accountable. Or so the dude you're dating thinks you're a fitness goddess and wants to, um, see the results up close and personal. Either way.

why does the guitar playerr get the girls

Why Does The Guitar Player Get The girls?

by DANIEL R. LEHRMAN on APRIL 2, 2008

Realistically it goes without saying that there are a lot of differences between what men and women want. Thus, since sexual attraction is generally generated across this valley, there are a lot differences between what men and women find sexually attractive.
So, men are attracted to women. That being said, how does this explain why the guitar players get the girls? Certainly someone has noticed that  even somewhat ugly guys, that may play in less than main event bands, seem to date more women and better looking women than their looks or bands would seem to dictate
There is a giant body of evidence  arguing that this conclusion does not work in reverse. Men do not appear to find female musicians, guitar players in particular to have the same magnetism or to be as attractive. My evidence for this is almost entirely without any scientific documentation. Personal observation only. Since, I am not available or interested (26 years married and happy) in being a test subject.
Because of my guitar background and education, I have even heard one of my teachers tell the younger guys ” the girls love a guitar player” as a motivational ploy. Usually the student comes back next week being able to play like Steve Vai!
In fact, the number of companies that manufacture girl guitars has increased by leaps and bounds in the last 5 or 6 years, starting with Daisy Rock Guitars. Additionally, many of the well established companies such as Fender and Gibson have added exclusive girls-women guitar lines. Easily available at many online musical instrument stores.
Darwin made a proposal in his theory of evolution that social skills, such as being able to play a musical instrument, could be one of the requirements for selection as a partner. The easy answer may well be that displaying guitar virtuosity is one of the human equivalents of a bird spreading his feathers, one could make an argument  that many musicians have a particular dress code both on and off stage. However, this does not really explain why male musicians, who in many instances show a more feminine side, are found to be more attractive by many women.
To become keenly aware of this phenomenon, one only needs to frequent a local establishment, that has a band playing at that time and observe. Additionally, many guitar players look better at closing time!
Then again it may only be the larger than life stage presence which a lot of women seem  attracted to, off stage you’re just another weird looking dude!
Can small guys play girls guitars? Guitar Players Center thinks so. What is your take on this subject. Take a minute to Share It. Sign up for Stumble Upon and let most of the modern world in on the subject of why do guitar players get all the girls. Please comment, all input is appreciated. GPC is a site committed to outperforming our competition.

TOP 10 THINGS GIRLS LIKE IN A GUY

TOP 10 THINGS GIRLS LIKE IN A GUY

many women have a similar list when it comes to the "perfect" guy

1. humour
this demonstrates to a woman that as a companion, the guy is just light-hearted fun person to be with. a guy who doesn't take himself seriously is less likely to be snobbish, uptight or a bore to be around.

2. kind-heartness / a genuinely caring personality
even though most nice guys tend to wrongly believe that women chase after men that embody the "bad guy" persona, it's true to say that women genuinely don't appreciate a man who is abusive, controlling or loud. a person who cares is one whose love will last a long time.

3. friendliness
nothing warms your heart more than a significant other that is friendly to all your friends, family and any one he crosses paths with! again, illustrates that he is a good person overall.

4. a sense of self-awareness (be sure of who he is and what he wants)
you can interpret this as confidence in who he is. it demonstrates immense maturity, and means he will not be swayed by the opinions of others. it's important to us as women because after starting a relationship with you as a guy, we need to be sure that you will stick by us to the very end and will not give up simply because someone thinks differently.

5. good morals
i appreciate any man who understands and practices his ethics - i.e. he knows it is wrong to cheat, he respects the value of family and friends, would never steal or commit any crime, etc. girls don't want to be with a guy who will pressure them to do something they don't want to.

6. courage (generally being firm about morals and beliefs - and not backing down when you need to defend them in cases of great adversary)

7. a great conversationalist
if you envision being with someone for a long time, you have to be able to talk to them about absolutely anything. be it politics, religion, sex, etc. all the "dangerous" areas of conversation should be open to you as couples, and as a good boyfriend you should not be easily offended or troubled by the differing views your potential girlfriend might have - just simply learn and develop your relationship through the various ideas you both have.

8. cooking skills!
believe it or not, even if we can cook better than you (okay, i guess only sometimes :P), a guy who -tries- to cook and will go to great lengths to at least help out in the kitchen is beyond the sexiest thing ever.

9. a passion for something
not necessarily an obsession. but having at least one thing that you feel strongly about. be it baseball, the band Queen, learning German, etc.

10. being you :)
if you're completely yourself (the most honest and bare you can possibly be without being boastful or egoistic) - you are one of a kind and very few girls can possibly resist that.

                  Health Benefits of Surya Namaskar

Surya Namaskar provides all of the key health benefits of yoga in a very succinct package. It is a holistic exercise that provides physical health benefits, but also mental or emotional as well as spiritual benefits. The obvious advantage of Surya Namaskar is the workout it provides for the muscles, but it also benefits joints, ligaments and the skeletal system by improving posture, flexibility and balance.
In addition to these physical benefits,. surya namaskar practice stimulates and conditions virtually every system in the body. It is good for the heart and stimulates the cardiovascular system. It oxygenates the blood and helps strengthen the heart. Surya Namaskar is good for the digestive system and the nervous system. It stimulates the lymphatic system and supports respiratory system health, as well.
Practicing Surya Namaskar also benefits the Endocrine system and enables the various endocrinal glands to function properly. These include the thyroid, parathyroid and pituitary glands as well as the adrenal gland, testes and ovaries.
Like most forms of exercise, Surya Namaskar provides mental benefits to regular practitioners. You will feel wonderful after performing the Sun Salutation. It is relaxing and rejuvenating, and tension, stress and anxiety melt away as you perform Surya Namaskar.
Surya Namaskar is an excellent alternative to caffeine and other stimulants. If you suffer from insomnia or sleep disturbances, you will find practicing Surya Namaskar aids in helping you fall asleep without the need for depressants.
With regular practice, Surya Namaskar is an excellent way to manage stress and alleviate depression. You will expend a tremendous amount of energy as you move through the two sets of poses. Surya Namaskar teaches you to concentrate, and learning to achieve the poses is incredibly gratifying.

You can also perform Surya Namaskar at the end of other exercise routines as a way to relax and wind down. One of the best things about Surya Namaskar is how flexible and versatile a form of exercise it is for individuals at all fitness levels.

Surya Namaskar and Spirituality

Surya Namaskar will provide health benefits for individuals regardless of their level of interest in its spiritual benefits or their religious beliefs. Whether you consider it of spiritual benefit or not, learning the poses and practicing them regularly is incredibly gratifying and humbling.
Over time, Surya Namaskar will help you achieve a sense of well-being and purpose. It is a spiritually uplifting exercise and promotes a keen awareness of the interconnectedness of your body, mind and breath.

             TOP TEN GADGETS OF 2011

Apple iPhone 4S – The much anticipated iPhone 5 proved elusive this year, but Apple did come up with the iPhone 4S. This iteration retained the original design of the iPhone but bumped up dual core specs and introduced a revolutionary voice recognition based artificial intelligence called Siri. Siri pretty much does everything a virtual personal assistant could be expected to do. The iPhone 4S was announced on October 4, a day before the passing of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. It started selling in India from November 25th

Apple iPad 2 – Version 2 of the iPad was launched on 2nd March and has been available in India since 28th April. It provided a concrete sucker punch to the competition from Android as it released before any tangible Android tablet hit the market. It also became leaner and meaner with a slimmer design and dual-core internals. The iPad 2 was the last Apple product to be unveiled by Steve Jobs.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus – It's not available in India yet but the Galaxy Nexus was instantly a superhit in the UK when it launched on 17th November. Armed with Google's latest version of Android called Ice Cream Sandwich and its uber cool 4.65-in reinforced Super AMOLED HD display, the Galaxy Nexus is top dog in the Android arsenal. We expect it to get here next month.

Samsung Galaxy S2 - Launched in June 2011, the Galaxy S2 became the best selling Android device of 2011 and even outsold the iPhone 4. Samsung crossed the 20million mark for the quarter ending 30th September according to the WSJ, while Apple shipped17.7 million iPhones. The S2 came with super high-tech internals – A 1.2 GHz Exynos dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 MP camera and Samsung's state of the art Super AMOLED+ display.

Aakash Tablet – 5th October 2011 was a red letter day in India's tech history as the long awaited Aakash was finally released by the HRD Ministry. What's so special about it? It's made in India, and it's cheap. At $50, it was pricier than it's original $35 tag, but still the cheapest tablet around. For students, the targeted market, the price tag will be even cheaper.

Canon EOS 1DX - Put simply, this is the perfect DSLR to date. It combines many of the features of the 1D Mark IV and the 1Ds models with many major upgrades. What it offers is truly breath taking - an 18 megapixel full frame chip, an ISO range from 50 to 204,800, shooting at 12 Frames per second and, needless to say, HD video recording. The ergonomic design of the camera is phenomenal with buttons replaced to suit an easier and quick access position. Announced on 18th October 2011, the Canon EOS 1DX is what every photography enthusiast has been waiting for.

Nokia Lumia 800 – Launched in November this is the first Nokia device to don a non Nokia OS, in this case Microsoft's innovative Windows Phone OS. The Lumia 800 has been touted as Nokia's hero phone for 2011 and with good reason - consider it's stunning injection moulded polycarbonate chassis and Nokia's patented camera technology and mapping software.

Amazon Kindle Fire - It's pre-launch reputation as another “iPad killer” polarised opinion but after it launched in October the Kindle Fire turned out to be a different, and intriguing, kettle of fish. It came armed with a super affordable $200 price tag, a forked version of Google's Android customized by Amazon, dual core architecture and, most importantly, integrated Amazon's considerable cloud based services.

Samsung Smart TV - Originally shown at CES 2011 in January, this smart offering turned out to be the most unique TV money can buy. Apart from this, it came integrated with Samsung's Smart TV platform which offers web based apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Skype, as well as a Flash capable web browser. All this inside a large 55-inch display. While the tech still has some ground to cover, this surely is the future of all televisions.

MacBook Air 13 inch - The 2011 version of the MacBook Air launched in July and brought to fans another bite of Apple's tasty ultra portable mainstream appeal.
